‘Classic’ Qwara & Cats?

Geelong fans are ‘always on the ball’, so there’ll be keen interest on TAB’s Saturday night AFL/Greys offer.

They’ll ‘stand up and fight like hell’ for the $6.00 being bandied about on the Cats to defeat the Demons in a top-of-the-table blockbuster and greyhound sprint queen Qwara Bale snaring the G3 Cranbourne Classic final (520m).

Melbourne is the AFL ladder leader coming into the final round with Geelong breathing down its neck in second position. Both have won on 16 occasions from 21 matches, with the Dees also drawing once – in Round 18 against Hawthorn.

Meanwhile, the Andrea Dailly-trained Qwara Bale (Box 1) is TAB’s $2.30 favourite to claim a $25,000 first prize.

Australia’s latest female sprinting monarch shades ‘next big thing’ Koblenz (Box 7) – a winner of 17 from 26 – at $4.00 in fixed odds betting.

Qwara Bale has won 20 races (with two seconds and four thirds) from 34 starts – including the G1 Sapphire Crown, G1 Maturity Classic and G2 Warrnambool Cup.

She’s won 11 of her past 16 starts and was the fastest qualifier (29.90sec) in last week’s heats.

Bounce down for the Geelong Cats vs Melbourne clash at GMHBA Stadium is at 7.25pm, while Qwara Bale is in Race 8 at 6.26pm.

WATCH: Sprint queen Qwara Bale (8) was the fastest Cranbourne Classic qualifier in a sizzling 29.90sec.
